Calvin Klein has launched the second instalment of its Spring 2024 menswear campaign, this time starring Idris Elba. And it’s significant because it will be the global actor and musician’s first campaign for the fashion label.

Shot by Mert Alas, Elba wears the brand’s outerwear, featuring its Classic Trench Coat, Seersucker Full Zip Shirt Jacket and Sateen Bomber Jacket, it’s offering “elevated materials with a sophisticated take on easy everyday layering options”. New slim suiting also “introduces an elegant, polished silhouette in tailored wool, sateen and cotton fabrications.
Overall, the Spring 2024 menswear collection promotes lightweight outerwear, modern tailoring and premium men’s apparel “channelling Calvin Klein’s signature bold, effortless minimalism”.
The campaign and collection launch are featured on the brand’s website while the Elba campaign rolls out on its @calvinklein social channels throughout the week. Images are also appearing on premium out-of-home placements around the globe.
The first instalment of the Spring 2024 campaign first appeared at the beginning of January featuring actor Jeremy Allen White, also in his debut for the brand. White was captured in his hometown New York, also photographed by Mert Alas, with the stills and videos showcasing “his profound connection to the city, amplifying his empowered energy while sporting Calvin Klein’s most iconic styles”.
Calvin Klein said the next instalment “drops soon”.
