The full moon doesn’t happen every night, and it can be a special thing to look at – whether you’re looking at the lunar event on your own, or you’re taking a sky-lit night to look at the stars with your closest friends and family.
We’re reaching the end of the year and most stores have already put their Christmas decorations up for the year… But when are the next full moon dates for 2023?
There are two more left until 2024: mark these dates on your calendar if there’s anything special that you’d like to do on the lunar event. Many people adjust their routines on the date of the full lunar event so that they can sleep better!

Here’s what you should know about the next projected lunar events for 2023, and when you can catch the full moon in all its glory.
November’s full moon
If you’re looking up at the expected lunar event for this month, then you might have to wait a little longer. Right now the chunk of space dust is in the waxing phase, and still approaching fuller.
According to Next Full Moon, the November lunar event will be happening on 27 November.
If you want to catch a glimpse of a beautiful, impressive lunar event, then mark this date or set a reminder on your smartphone for then.

Stay up late: the best time to see the full moon is usually from later the evening, when the other lights have gone down for the night.
The moon in December
December moon comes just after Christmas, and you can expect to see the sky light up on the 26 December.

According to Moongiant, you can expect to see the best of the lunar body from after 7 to 8 the evening. Remember to get your cameras ready if there’s any footage or photos that you would like to capture!
