NIRF Law College Rankings 2024 Vs 2023
The top four positions in this year’s rankings are the same as last year. However, there has been a notable shift between Jamia Millia Islamia and Symbiosis Law School. Symbiosis Law School, which was ranked 6th last year, has moved up to 5th place, pushing Jamia Millia Islamia to 6th.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has made significant progress, rising to 7th position from 9th last year. Conversely, Gujarat National Law School has slipped to 8th place from 7th, and Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan has dropped to 9th from 8th. Babasaheb BhimRao Ambedkar University has maintained its 10th position since 2023.

Until 2023, the NIRF rankings covered 13 categories, including Overall, Universities, Colleges, Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Medical, Law, Architecture, Dental, Innovation, Agriculture, Allied Institutions, and Research Institutions. This year, the addition of three new categories; State Public Universities, Skill Universities, and Open Universities, brings the total to 16.
