The 2024 model year is upon us, and the most notable change for the Nissan Pathfinder is a moderate price bump. The entry level Pathfinder S 2WD starts at $37,145 (including $1,335 destination and handling fee), or $850 more than the same model in 2023.

Accounting for $40 of that price increase is the destination charge, which along with the base price has grown, rising from $1,295 for the 2023 model year, to $1,335 for the 2024 model year. The Pathfinder S 2WD still comes with standard Nissan Safety Shield 360, NissanConnect, and an eight-inch touchscreen.

Meanwhile, for the rest of the Pathfinder lineup, where a bigger nine-inch touch screen, 12.3-inch digital dashboard, and a 10.8-inch head-up display are available, the price hike is the same. All 2024 Nissan Pathfinder models cost $850 more than they did in 2023, when the destination charge is factored in.

The lineup tops out with the Platinum 4WD trim, which offers 20-inch wheels, a panoramic moonroof, a Bose 13-speaker audio system, leather seats, Bronze Metallic Brushed interior trim, and climate-controlled front seats.

As ever, the fifth-generation Pathfinder, which was introduced for the 2022 model year, provides owners with three rows of seats, 80.5 cubic feet (2,271 liters) of interior volume behind the front row, and a towing capacity of up to 6,000 lbs (2,721 kg).

Power is provided by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 284 hp (212 kW/288 PS) and 259 lb-ft (351 Nm). However, for the off-road-ready Rock Creek trim, that figure is pumped up slightly with the help of revised fuel-mapping, and it makes 295 hp (220 kW/299 PS) and 270 lb-ft (366 Nm) of torque.
