Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will be held between May 6 and May 10 this year. Registration for the examination started from Thursday and it will continue till March 15.
OJEE chairman Pravin Kumar Kar said the entrance examination will be conducted through computer-based test (CBT) mode for all the courses. Outside state candidates are not eligible for admission in government colleges, but they are eligible for admission in private colleges according to Odisha government rule, he added.
The shift-wise complete schedule of the examination will be displayed on the official websites of OJEE.Information on standard operating procedure (SOP) for the OJEE will be notified later. “The candidates and their parents are advised to keep visiting the above websites for latest updates,” said official statement.
OJEE will have online examination centres in all the 30 districts of the state and three places outside Odisha for the convenience of the students appearing for the entrance examination.
OJEE is conducted every year for the purpose of holding common entrance examinations for admission into undergraduate (UG)/postgraduate (PG) level professional courses including lateral entry to BTech, MTech, MSc Computer Science, MBA, integrated MBA, MCA, MArch, MPlan, MPharm and BPharm in the state.
