Die Antwoord is a controversial and sometimes stylish ‘zef’ band, fronted by Watkin Tudor Jones and Yo-Landi Visser. A recent 2024 EU/UK tour brings them into the headlines again, though some of their online critics are wondering what they’re doing back on stage.

The band tracks its fame to 2008, when Enter the Ninja went viral and the band booked their first huge tour. If you know the history, you’ll also know The Constructus Corporation and MaxNormal.TV.

Not everything about the band is recent, and old party videos have resurfaced on the internet.

The video appears to have less than 400 views, and it’s apparently ‘showing how they party’.

While their songs (Enter the Ninja, She Makes Me a Killer) have millions of views, the obscure video has under 400 views.

The 4-minute clip was uploaded by user Phenom669. The channel contains several videos, all of which contain footage of the band.

Set to the song It’s Okay (One Blood), the clip shows the band in party mode around a fire.

The bizarre interview… with Jack Parow

The channel contains more than just old party footage, but also a video featuring rapper Jack Parow.

A short clip shows the band members buying boerewors rolls from Parow, who raves about the merits of sausage. Parow drops pearls of wisdom like, ‘It’s all about the sausage’ and ‘a man must respect his sausage.’
