Olivia Wilde has been slammed for throwing shade at Taylor Swift and her latest romance with Travis Kelce, according to Page Six.
The actress, 39, took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share: “I wish Taylor Swift was in love with a climate scientist”.
But Swifties acted fast, jumping to the defence of their favourite pop sensation, 33.
Many labelled Wilde a hypocrite, adding that she herself has done “nothing” for climate change.
“Didn’t she date Harry Styles or am I missing something,” one user responded, taking aim at the Don’t Worry Darling star for her romance with the former One Direction member.
“I get it but like also… who is Olivia Wilde to say sh.. I don’t remember Harry Styles restoring the ozone when they were dating,” another quipped.
But not everyone was on Swift’s side.
Agreed, Olivia! Taylor Swift’s influence combined with a climate scientist’s passion for change could make a powerful impact,”one said.
“Imagine the awareness they could raise together!” another commented.
One user couldn’t help but point out the obvious.
“The point was that nobody is doing sh.. for the environment. And most definitely not celebrities,” they said.
The Cruel Summer singer was seen in a VIP box with Kelce’s mother, Donna, watching her lover’s game game against the Chicago Bears.
A week later, she was spotted in the stands again.
She has been cheering Kelce on alongside big names such as Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner and Hugh Jackman.
