Anna Paul’s new tattoo has caused a considerable uproar, with some fans of the influencer saying it is “weird”.
The influencer, who boasts over 7.2 million followers on TikTok, shared a video on Friday where she claimed her tattoo of her brother’s name caused an “uproar” and that it wasn’t “weird”.
“I got my brother’s name tattooed on my foot, and it caused an uproar on the TikTok. Everyone’s so concerned. Like, isn’t it weird that you have your brother tattooed on your foot?” she said in the video.
“How, how is that?
“Do siblings not have matching tattoos?
“Is that not a thing that siblings do?” she continued.
“If he were my sister, people would think it’s the cutest thing. But because he has a boy, it’s suddenly weird.”
Paul then joked that she bought her brother (Atis) a jumper because she had a “crush” on him.
“I even bought this for my brother Atis because I have a crush on him. I mean, because I love him. I mean, ‘cause he’s my brother. Sorry, it’s just slipped out,” she joked.
“Is that what you wanted to hear? Anyway, we had a dinner reservation, so I went on a date with my brother. I mean, I met my brother at dinner. I don’t know what’s happening to me.”
The 24-year-old horrified fans in August when she announced her shock split from longtime partner Glen Thomson after eight years of dating.
“It was a mutual break up,” she said in a heartfelt video.
“You know, we’ve been together since we were 16 or 15, and now we’re 24.”
Paul ended the quick video by saying: “And we still love each other so much. And that’s what it is. That’s what’s happened. So, yeah.”
