Cinnabon fanatics will be kept waiting in anticipation with the first WA store in Joondalup delaying its grand opening by two weeks.
Originally set to open on Saturday, August 17, Boxx Brands managing director Brett Higgins said the opening of WA’s first Cinnabon store at Lakeside Joondalup had to be postponed for the arrival of key ingredients.
“Good things come to those who wait, and now that everything has arrived, we’re thrilled to confirm that the store will officially open on Saturday, August 31,” Mr Higgins said.
“We are expecting huge demand for the product, so we’ve put everything in place to ensure that as many people as possible will enjoy the warm, gooey rolls that have made Cinnabon a global favourite.”
Thousands of fresh baked Cinnabon rolls will be prepared by a team of three pastry chefs for the grand opening of the store.
As well as ovens on site at the Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City store, Bons will also be baked at a new centralised facility, with three ovens imported from the United States.
On opening day, customers can look forward to indulging in the classic Cinnabon flavours: the Original Roll, Caramel Pecan and Chocobon.
“Leading our kitchen team are expert bakers who bring years of experience in crafting the perfect Cinnabon roll,” Mr Higgins said. “Not just anyone can make them, it takes a special experienced baker to handcraft a Cinnabon.
“We are so excited to finally share Cinnabon with Perth and create some new fans. There will be ‘Frost Yeah’ Cinnabon branded sweatshirts available to the first 50 customers to purchase a ‘Cinnapack’.”
The store, located near the train station entry at Lakeside Joondalup, will officially open at 8.30am on Saturday, August 31.
