Optus outage: CCIWA says it is too early to know full extent of the damage for small businesses

It is too early to gauge just how big the impact of the Optus outage will have on small businesses, the State’s peak lobby group says, but one local owner is already expecting a loss of at least $10,000.

Up to 10 million customers and 400,000 businesses across Australia were without internet and unable to make calls after Optus’ services went down Wednesday morning. Some Optus customers were also unable to make triple-zero calls.
