Fourth quarter: Wide receiver Gary Jennings caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jake Luton. The Panthers cut the deficit to 21-19 after a made PAT.
Fourth quarter: Running back Raheem Blackshear ran for a 1-yard touchdown. The Panthers missed the two-point conversion. They trailed 21-12 after the score.
Third quarter: Panthers kicker Matthew Wright made a 53-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 21-6.
Halftime: The Giants led 21-3 at halftime.
Second quarter: Eric Gray had a 9-yard touchdown run. The Giants made it 21-3 after the made PAT.
Second quarter: Wide receiver Jalin Hyatt caught a 33-yard touchdown pass from Tyrod Taylor. The Giants took a 14-3 lead after a made PAT.
Second quarter: Panthers kicker Matthew Wright made a 37-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 7-3.
Young finished the night completing 3 of 6 passes for 35 yards. He was sacked once.
First quarter: Daniel Jones threw a four-yard touchdown pass to Daniel Bellinger. The Giants took a 7-0 lead after a made PAT.

Young was 4 of 6 passing for 21 yards in his NFL preseason debut. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft played three series. The Panthers picked up one first down with Young under center.
In the Panthers’ first preseason game against the Jets, several starters and key players didn’t play. It includes running back Miles Sanders, outside linebacker Brian Burns, outside linebacker Justin Houston, offensive lineman Chandler Zavala, offensive lineman Nash Jensen, offensive lineman Austin Corbett, tight end Stephen Sullivan, wide receiver Damiere Byrd, outside linebacker Marquis Haynes Sr., linebacker Jordan Thomas, cornerback Mac McCain III and kicker Eddy Piñeiro.
Meanwhile, the Giants are coming off a 21-16 loss to the Detroit Lions in their first preseason game.
