Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024: Students Gear Up for Nationwide Painting Competition |

In preparation for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024, an initiative aimed at alleviating examination stress among students, a nationwide painting competition unfolded on January 23, 2024. The event took place across 657 Kendriya Vidyalayas and 122 Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS) in 774 districts throughout the country. More than 60,000 students participated in this large-scale competition, themed around exam mantras from the book “Exam Warriors” authored by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The competition coincided with ‘Parakram Diwas,’ observed on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, intending to inspire students with the great leader’s life and instil a spirit of patriotism.This inspirational message also served as a central theme for the painting competition.
The Ministry of Education, encouraging creative expression, promoted various activities in schools nationwide, including the painting competition. From January 12 (National Youth Day) to January 23, diverse activities such as a marathon run, music competition, meme competition, Nukkad Natak, poster making, and Yoga-cum-meditation sessions were organized.
On January 23, 2024, students and teachers passionately participated in the painting competition, displaying fervour and enthusiasm. The 7th edition of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Interaction Programme, “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024,” witnessed an overwhelming response with 2.26 crore registrations on the MyGov portal. This signifies the extensive enthusiasm among students nationwide, eager to participate in this distinctive event and interact with the Prime Minister.
Scheduled for January 29, 2024, the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 programme will take place at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, in a town hall format from 11 am onwards. Nearly 3000 participants will interact with the Prime Minister during the event. Special guests include two students and a teacher from each State and Union Territory, along with winners of the Kala Utsav. Additionally, one hundred students from the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across the country will attend this event for the first time since its inception.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is a part of a broader movement led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to create a stress-free environment for youngsters. The movement aims to bring together students, parents, teachers, and society to foster an environment where the unique individuality of each child is celebrated and encouraged. At the core of this movement is the pathbreaking and bestselling book ‘Exam Warriors’ by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, available in English, Hindi, and other major regional languages.
