Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 to be held tomorrow: Check timing, where to watch and other details here

On January 29, 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact in a live session with students, teachers, and parents during ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024‘. The event is scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandapam, ITPO, New Delhi at 11:00 AM.
According to official data, a combined total of 205.62 lakh students, 14.93 lakh teachers, and 5.69 lakh parents have registered for Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024. Comparatively, the previous year witnessed the participation of 31.24 lakh students, 5.60 lakh teachers, and 1.95 lakh parents in the event.
On Saturday, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan assessed the arrangements for the upcoming seventh edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha,’ an initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The current 7th edition recorded a remarkable 2.26 crore registrations on the MyGov portal, highlighting widespread enthusiasm among students nationwide,” Pradhan said.

The ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024’ event will be broadcast live on Doordarshan, including channels such as DD National, DD News, and DD India. Additionally, other prominent private channels will also air the program in real-time.
The live broadcast of the event will be available on radio channels, including All India Radio Medium Wave and All India Radio FM Channel. Furthermore, viewers can access the live stream on various websites such as PMO, Ministry of Education, Doordarshan, MyGov.in, and the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Education. Additionally, the event can be watched in real-time on Facebook Live and Swayamprabha.
In a previous circular, the University Grants Commission encouraged higher educational institutions to make the necessary arrangements for students to participate in and watch the event. “The higher educational institutions are requested to display the above at prominent places and also to disseminate the information with the students and faculty members. Further, the HEIs are also requested to make necessary arrangements for watching the telecast/webcast of the programme on 29th January 2024 to make this programme a huge success,” reads the official letter.

Conducted by the Ministry of Education, ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ has been actively involving students, parents, and teachers for the last six years. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fourth edition took place virtually, while the fifth and sixth editions reverted to the town-hall format.
