The devastating moment homes were gutted by an out-of-control bushfire in Parkerville has been caught on camera.
Footage of the Perth Hills inferno, captured by the 7NEWS helicopter, shows properties collapsing under the immense heat.
It is not yet known how many homes have been lost, but a number of residents will be reeling from the loss just four days out from Christmas.
Firefighters are continuing to battle the blaze and nearby residents have been urged to evacuate immediately as the bushfire continues to burn dangerously close to homes.
The fire started near the intersection of Granite Road on Thursday morning, and people bound by the latest emergency alert need to act now in order to survive. For residents bound by Wilson Road, Granite Road, Dartnall Road and Brooking Road, it is too late to leave now, as lives are in danger.

People west of Feldman Crescent — even if you are not prepared or plan to leave — must leave now in a westerly direction if the way is safe.
“If you are well prepared and plan to actively defend your home, make final preparations. If you plan to stay and actively defend, do not rely on mains water pressure as it may be affected.
“You need to have access to an independent water supply and start patrolling your property to put out spot fires.”
Duty Assistant Commissioner Rick Curtis said firefighters were anticipating a difficult 24 hours ahead.
“The fire behaviour has been described as extreme under the easterly influence of this trough, and the spot fires are beyond 1km ahead of the head fire,” he said on ABC radio.
“We’ve got an enormous amount of effort in place now ground support, air support and incident management teams resourcing this event.
“Importantly, the head fire itself is moving at above 1km an hour, so I would urge community members to take heed of the emergency warning in place and act swiftly in relation to what those direction are.”
The bushfire is moving in a westerly direction and is out-of-control and unpredictable.
An evacuation centre has been set up at Brown Park on Salisbury Road in Swan View.
Western Power has been called to the area with live powerlines down on Johnston Road.
