“Pawn Stars” lead Rick Harrison posted an ‘amazing’ throwback tribute to his son, Adam, just days after he died of a drug overdose at the age of 39.
The 58-year-old reality star took a trip down memory lane and shared two vintage images of himself with his son on Instagram from decades ago and the pair is unrecognizable.
In the first photo, Harrison holds a young Adam on his shoulders as they walk down the stairs outdoors surrounded by mountains and trees.
The duo are all smiles, and Harrison, who now sports a bald head, looks almost like a different person with a head full of luscious brunette hair.
In the second image, the father and son are both asleep cheek to cheek on a couch cradled in each other’s arms. Adam appears to be shirtless as Rick sports a blue terracloth robe.
He captioned the carousel of images simply “amazing memories.”
Harrison confirmed news of his son’s death from a fentanyl overdose in Las Vegas on Monday in a statement made to The Post.
“Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” Harrison said. “The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously,” he added. “It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”
Harrison broke his silence on Adam’s death on Instagram shortly after his death.
“You will always be in my heart!” Harrison wrote beneath a photo of himself smiling alongside his son in a bar. I love you, Adam.”
Adam’s older brother, Corey, 40, also penned a tribute on Instagram. “Wax wtf I will always love you bubba,” he captioned the baby picture of the two of them in a bathtub.
Rick had Adam and Corey with his first wife, Kim. He also has a third son, Jake, with his second wife, Tracy.
Since 2009, “Pawn Stars” has documented the multigenerational Harrison staff at their Las Vegas Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, in which they authenticate objects brought into the store and make the seller an offer.
