Pedro Pascal, known for his role in HBO’s “The Last of Us,” won the SAG Award for male actor in a drama series. Surprisingly, he admitted to being a little drunk during his acceptance speech as he didn’t expect to win after losing to Kieran Culkin at the Golden Globes and Emmy Awards.
Pascal expressed his surprise and gratitude to the audience, acknowledging his drunken state and thanking the union for the incredible honor. Despite struggling to remember the nominees’ names, he managed to thank his family before joking about having a panic attack and leaving.
The other SAG Award nominees in the same category were Kieran Culkin, Brian Cox, Billy Crudup, and Matthew Macfadyen. Pascal has been making waves at awards shows with his viral moments, including a fake feud with Culkin.
Pascal teased a revenge plan of “making out” with Culkin, calling him the greatest and expressing his excitement for the upcoming Season 2 of “The Last of Us.” The show is expected to return to HBO in 2025.
