A tech expert has taken to TikTok to explain a secret easy way to boost your home internet connectivity.

The @WePC account offered the consumer hack in an 18-sec clip which has won praise as well as almost 225,000 “likes”.
The video opens with the promise: “Enjoy the faster internet and better performance.”
The presenter suggests opening up your machine’s Device Manager, then click on links for Network Adapters and then for Wi-Fi.
She then advises tapping on the Transmit Power levels option before setting that value to its highest.
She added: “This tip actually does work.”
She displayed a huge difference in upload speeds after making the move.
Viewers shared the advice with others, with one person telling a friend: “You might need this one.”
Others questioned whether there might be “a catch”.
