After glorious unseasonal weather over the weekend, Perth will resume regular programming for the rest of the working week.
A cold front is set to move over the metro area on Tuesday night, bringing with it up to 10mm of rain. The bulk of the rain will fall around 8pm.
The weather on Wednesday won’t be any better with “showery, windy and cold” conditions expected, Bureau of Meteorology duty forecaster Luke Huntington said.
“It’s pretty typical winter weather.”
Another front will “brush” the south coast on Friday, bringing the chance of showers to the metro area.
But the sky will clear just in time for the weekend, with sunny days in the low 20s expected until at least Monday.
Perth is well behind its average monthly rainfall for July. So far 38mm has fallen, and even though it’s only just over halfway through the month, it doesn’t look like Perth will get to the average of 147mm.
