The 2023 season kicked off exactly as planned for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The defending NFC champions rushed to an impressive 10-1 record, chalking up victories against the Cowboys, Dolphins, Vikings, Buccaneers, Bills and the Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch.
Things came crashing down late in the season for Jalen Hurts, Jason Kelce and co. under new defensive coordinator Matt Patricia.
After losing five of their last six, Nick Sirianni’s squad succumbed to the Bucs — who they stomped on earlier in the season — by a score of 32-9 in an NFC Wild Card laugher.
However, the team is looking ahead to 2024 with their heads held high.
While they may have lost Kelce to retirement, the front office signed star running back Saquon Barkley and extended Pro Bowler A.J. Brown’s contract.
Franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts isn’t going anywhere either.
With all those pieces in place, the team hopes this coming season goes more like the dominating first half of 2023 rather than the dismal second.
In order to make that happen, the Birds will need all the help they can get.
That’s where you (!) come in.
Tickets are available for all eight home games at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field including biggies against the Steelers on Dec. 15, Cowboys on Dec. 29 and Barkley’s former team, the New York Giants in the last game of the season.
