Harry Styles’ Pleasing brand continues to grow and is just now launching its first summer ready-to-wear collection. it’s available at its new Selfridges space and globally via Pleasing’s own webstore.
The brand has close links with Selfridges and last year had a residency at the luxe department store’s Corner Shop with its fragrances.
The new collaboration, sees the colourful label creating “a bright immersive space” within the flagship London store.
The pop-up is on the First Floor Menswear Atrium and includes a range of “new and familiar products” across nail, apparel, and accessories, with that new seasonal RTW offer a key part of the attraction.
It comes at a good time with the UK weather finally becoming more summery.
We’re told the collection evokes “a sense of nostalgia of summer breaks and succumbing to the kind of full-body relaxation that borders on boredom; watching ice cream melt for sport, riding the handlebars of your best friend’s bike to chase shade by the lake, and more familiar rites of passage”.
The company said the silhouettes “are as accommodating as they are ‘of the moment’ [and the] collection has all the makings of a complete seasonal wardrobe”.
That means retro-inspired pieces including a tracksuit, ringer tees with short-shorts to match, and breezy linen sets in “unexpected colour combinations — whether bright and saturated, or murky and muted”.
The RTW is complemented by a range of new accessories from oversized cotton towels, rendered in abstract squiggles in a sunshine palette, to elevated riffs on the Pleasing Tote.
The collection is priced from £68 to £260 and will be available in the pop-up until 6 July.
