Pokémon fans have found the best method for catching the latest limited-time ‘mon

EVERY few weeks Pokémon releases a new limited-time event where players can catch a rare monster.

The current event can be quite difficult thanks to its high defenses but there is a way for you to catch one.

Meganium is the current target of seven-star raids, and will be available on two subsequent weekends.

Here are the two weekends when you can catch your own Meganium in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

  • Friday, April 5, 2024, until Sunday, April 7, 2024
  • Friday, April 12, 2024, until Sunday, April 14, 2024

Meganium is a Psychic-tera type, and comes with the ability Leaf Guard which prevents status conditions when the sun is up.

Its best stats are its defensive stats so it can be quite a difficult wall to break through, and this is made worse by the screens it sets up at the start.

Luckily, its offensive stats are not that impressive, but it uses Curse to buff its attack and can quickly dispatch with your Pokémon.

Here is the Nature, Ability, and Move set for the Mighty Meganium.

  • The Mighty Meganium – Level 100
    • Nature – Impish
    • Ability – Leaf Guard
    • Item – None
    • Tera type – Psychic
    • Move set – Zen Headbutt, Body Press, Curse, Seed Bomb, Light Screen, Reflect, Bulldoze

If you want to catch Meganium quickly and easily, then Skeledirge is your best answer.

The Unaware ability means that you won’t take the extra damage from Curse’s Attack boosts making it perfect for this raid.

To start the battle use Mud-Slap to build up your Tera charge and to keep yourself safe until Meganium puts up the shield and wipes stat changes.

Then you can use Torch Song to boost your Special Attack before using a super effective Shadow Ball for big damage.

Here is the set we recommend.

  • Skeledirge – Level 100
    • Nature – Bold
    • Ability – Unaware
    • Item – Shell Bell
    • Tera type – Ghost
    • Move set – Torch Song, Mud-Slap, Shadow Ball, Slack Off
