You can buy various items of clothing in Pokémon Go to dress your players in, with everything from hats down to their shoes.

Players have spent a sizable amount of cash on these in-game items over the years in order to ensure their character looks fashionable.

That’s why they’ve been so upset by the recent update, which has changed how characters look.

The update added a number of new body types so that you can change how you look, but this has had an unfortunate effect on the clothes.

Many outfits don’t fit all of the available body types leaving some avatars looking nude, or the clothes will pass through them.

There is also a new system for looking for different outfits, and some players claim some items have gone missing, or that they can’t find them with the new system.

One user on Reddit made a post titled “Niantic owes us coins” which has almost 1k upvotes at the time of writing.

Players have also been complaining that the skin colours no longer look human and have an unnatural shade to them.

Niantic is known to not implement new functions smoothly in Pokémon Go, but these issues are usually fixed at some point down the line.

If these problems are changed then the new update looks promising for fans.

Not only are there more body types, but body types and clothes are now genderless meaning there will be more outfits for players to choose from.
