The Première Vision Paris trade show will be held on February 6-8 at the Villepinte exhibition centre. The event, focusing on the Spring/Summer 2025 collections, will welcome 73 new exhibitors and will notably expand the section dedicated to leather producers, with the presence of several new tanneries.
The show’s forthcoming session will host 1,200 exhibitors from 42 countries, and will be divided in sections with a layout similar to the latest edition’s, in the centre’s halls 3 and 6. Hall 3 will host PV Leather, and will notably feature a group stand with 14 French tanneries, and a space for the French tannery federation (FFTM). The organisers are keen to offer a comprehensive perspective on the leather industry, and will introduce eight new types of leather specialists, from breeders to companies working in leather sustainability and traceability.
PV Paris will extend its ‘A Better Way’ programme, which was launched last July and is designed to promote sustainable manufacturers. The programme was already incorporated in the show’s PV Fabrics, PV Yarns and PV Leather sections, and will now be introduced also in the PV Manufacturing and Smart Materials sections. Exhibitors like Adapta and Nona Source will feature alongside L’Atelier des Matières (set up by Chanel) in the section presenting companies working on fashion’s dormant stock.
PV Accessories will be based in hall 4, and will host its own trend forum, as will PV Designs, which will share hall 5 with the Maison d’Exceptions section. This invitation-only section, dedicated to producers of rare materials and those with unusual expertise, will showcase some 20 artisans from Japan, France, India, Italy, China and Spain.
PV Fabrics will occupy halls 5 and 6, with its ‘Inspiration’ trend forum in hall 5. “As usual [‘Inspiration’] will feature an immersive, highly curated selection of the season’s most inspiring, creative and directional products,” said Gilles Lasbordes, PV Paris’s managing director. Hall 6, home to PV Yarns and PV Manufacturing, will also host the ‘Sourcing Solutions’ forum, which will give a full overview of the show’s sourcing opportunities, with specific sections on various specialisations.
The forum will occupy the central aisle in hall 6, taking visitors to the ‘Smart Creation’ section, focused on innovations, and to the event’s conference area. During this edition, PV Paris will stage conferences on the trends in individual markets, on eco-responsible certifications, the future of polyester, the bra market, recycling, and sustainable dyeing solutions. And, last but not least, on AI (a topic covered in this article).
