If you’re not glued to your television screen and mainlining Fox News 24 hours a day, it can be hard to keep up with all the nefarious things that President Biden is accused of doing. Apparently, he’s incredibly corrupt, and, in fact, he’s so corrupt that no one can even find actual evidence of his corruption. Don’t you worry, though, Republicans are going to get to the bottom of this, and now they have proof that he’s been bought and paid for by China by way of a Ford Raptor that he bought for Hunter Biden back in 2018, the Washington Post reports.
According to House Oversight Chairman James Comer, Hunter Biden’s law firm, Owasco PC, received dirty Chinese money and then sent that money to Biden’s father as “part of a pattern revealing Joe Biden knew about, participated in and benefited from his family’s influence-peddling schemes.” So surely we’re talking about millions of dollars here, right? If you’re allegedly a corrupt politician like, say, Senator Bob Menendez, you wouldn’t do it for peanuts, right?
Wrong. Comer claims that three payments of $1,380 from back in 2018, which we should point out took place while President Biden was a private citizen and no longer Vice President, are the smoking gun here. Except those payments were reportedly for a Ford Raptor that Joe bought for Hunter. The guy just sent his dad money for the truck he was driving, and somehow that’s supposed to be proof that we’re dealing with a Biden Crime Family?
“There Chairman Comer goes again – reheating what is old as new to try to revive his sham of an investigation,” Hunter Biden’s attorney said in a statement. “The truth is Hunter’s father helped him when he was struggling financially due to his addiction and could not secure credit to finance a truck. When Hunter was able to, he paid his father back and took over the payments himself.”
Apparently, that simple explanation doesn’t cut it for the House Oversight Committee, with a spokesperson claiming, “There is now a pattern of members of the Biden family using their bank accounts that have been funded by Chinese and other foreign entities to send money to Joe Biden. Based on witness testimony, Joe Biden knew and participated in his family’s influence-peddling schemes. The checks and payments we’ve uncovered reveal Joe Biden benefited from them.”
How exactly President Biden benefited from helping his son buy a truck and then getting reimbursed for the truck payments still isn’t clear, but you better believe this is the smoking gun that’s totally going to take down the Biden Crime Family.
