Ralph Lauren Home officially opened on March 26, housed within a meticulously restored late 19th-century building in Foz do Douro. This exclusive retail space quietly welcomed visitors, offering a glimpse into the world of the American brand. Notably, there are plans for two additional rooms within the store dedicated solely to Hudson Valley Lighting Group fixtures, set to be unveiled in late April alongside a comprehensive WHStore project presentation.

Located at 247 Senhora da Luz Street, a picturesque thoroughfare parallel to the waterfront – nestled between Ourigo and Luz beaches – the locale exudes an air of exclusivity ideal for niche commercial endeavors.
The showroom and architectural studio connected to the store retain the century-old charm of the family’s summer residence within approximately 150 square meters.

The elongated space facing Foz’s bustling commercial street is adorned with a myriad of lamps, furniture, and accessories, including collections of office and tableware. From porcelain and crystal services to small travel bags, letter holders, paperweights, frames, desk protectors, and beyond, alongside robes, cushions, beach towels, linens, tableware, and bath essentials – all bearing the hallmark of the esteemed American brand.
It’s a comprehensive world for the home, thoughtfully divided into distinct areas designed to showcase the design and functionality of each piece.

While the website is under construction, the company’s Instagram page, managed by Ukrainian-born designers Valeriya Myronova and Valeriy Vedula, is already up and running at @whstore.pt.
“We’ve known and worked with Ralph Lauren for many years, and this representation in Portugal is a significant achievement,” revealed Valeriya Myronova to FashionNetwork.com, her flawless Portuguese attesting to her 17 years of residence in the country. “Valeriy Vedula and I met in this line of work in Portugal and established WHStore. Valeriy is an interior designer,” she added.
“We chose Foz for its reputation as an exhibition area, rich in landscape and opportunities, precisely where our target clientele resides.”

Regarding the opening of the rooms overlooking the sea, reserved for Hudson Valley Lighting Group, Myronova shared, “We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of more products, the delivery dates of which we cannot yet determine, but we aim to open at the end of the month at the latest. While we initially postponed the inauguration of the Ralph Lauren Home salon, we plan to hold it concurrently with the unveiling of the two brands.”
The studio specializes in comprehensive architectural and interior design projects, predominantly featuring Ralph Lauren pieces complemented by other brands, she concluded.
