RANGERS are still looking for a replacement for James Bisgrove after the CEO dramatically quit last month.
SunSport were the first to reveal that Bisgrove had accepted a big-money move to Saudi Arabia having agreed a deal with newly-promoted Al Qadsiah, who are owned by Saudi oil giants Aramco.
The 39-year-old departed after 13 months in the role, with John Bennett taking his place on an interim basis while they continue their search for a new appointment.
The Gers are currently working through the process of looking for a new chief executive and several names are being considered.
Bisgrove, who had been at Rangers for five years, officially took over the position when managing director Stewart Robertson stood down.
He was a relatively unknown in Scottish football when he first arrived at the club, despite his roles within Uefa and working with “managing partner relations” across the Champions League and Europa League.

But the Rangers board are now reportedly considering a shock swoop for one man, who is well-known in the Scottish game, to replace Bisgrove.
And that’s Hearts supremo Andrew McKinlay.
The Daily Record claim the Light Blues have been impressed with the Jambos’ chief executive’s work so far at Tynecastle. He has been the club’s chief executive for four years.
And during that time, the capital club’s revenue off the pitch has increased significantly, with McKinlay heavily involved with the creation of their new hotel which opened this year.
McKinlay has a proven record in Scottish football having also been named the SPFL CEO twice during his spell at Hearts and held a spot on the board at the SFA.
And his CV goes beyond footie as was also previously appointed the chief executive of Scottish golf.
Rangers will want to make sure they get the appointment right and won’t rush the process over the coming weeks.
Plans were already in place to allow Philippe Clement, Bennet and Nils Koppen to prioritise transfer recruitment this summer in the absence of Bisgrove following his departure.
It’s been a busy window already for the club as they’ve already landed four new players.
Clement has moved quickly to get deals over the line for Connor Barron, Jefte, Oscar Cortes and Clinton Nsiala.
