RANGERS are playing catch up in the Premiership – literally on Sunday – as they aim to draw level with Celtic, in matches played.
Whether or not they have the chance to draw level on points too, depends upon the Hoops and Hearts.
Ibrox plays host to Kilmarnock on Sunday – almost 24 hours after a key match across Glasgow for both sides meeting on the southside.
While Rangers are chasing league leaders Celtic, Kilmarnock still have a mathematical chance of capturing third spot and overhauling Hearts.
That would need the Jambos to lose at Celtic Park, giving Rangers added impetus to close a SIX-POINT overnight gap.
If the Edinburgh side shock the reigning champions with a second Parkhead win of the season, the best Killie hope for is fourth and the Gers have the chance to close in.

It’s all if buts and maybes at this stage of the season, and every game counts in the hunt for trophies, European places and even top flight status.
Awards too – and James Tavernier, Ross McCausland and Jack Butland are all on the PFA shortlists for Sunday’s ceremony – as are Killie duo David Watson and Derek McInnes.
Each will want to prove their own credentials after their nominations, and they’ll get the chance to do so at Ibrox.

Team news
Philippe Clement couldn’t call upon left-back Ridvan Yilmaz for the win over St Mirren last weekend – recalling the exit-linked Borna Barisic to the starting XI.
The boss also stuck with Leon Balogun and John Souttar as his central defensive partnership – leaving out stalwart Connor Goldson. Plenty of Ibrox eyes will be on that position on the Gers’ return home.
Danilo released a positive update on his recovery from a knee injury this week – but it’ll be too soon for the Brazilian who has been missing since December.
In the away dressing room, Greg Stewart won’t make the return against his old club after undergoing a hernia operation – but Derek McInnes is hopeful the forward could return to face St Mirren or Celtic in the closing stages of the season.
Kyle Magennis remains sidelined for Killie
