RBI Assistant Prelims Result 2023: Main Examination (Multiple Choice)
Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main online examination must undergo a Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The LPT will be conducted in the Official/Local Language(s) of the respective State. Candidates lacking proficiency in the Official/Local Language will face disqualification.
A candidate must qualify in the Preliminary Examination to be eligible to appear in the Main Examination. Incorrect answers in the Objective tests (Preliminary and Main) will incur negative marks. One-fourth of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
A sufficient number of candidates in each category, as determined by the Bank, will be shortlisted from the Preliminary (approximately 10 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability) and Main examinations (approximately 02 times the number of vacancies, subject to availability). This shortlisting will be done from the list of all candidates arranged in descending order of aggregate marks scored.
If the examination is conducted in multiple sessions, scores will be equated across sessions to account for variations in the difficulty level of different test batteries. The ‘corrected scores’ obtained by candidates in different sessions, if held, will be normalized using the equipercentile method, following IBPS’ standard practice.
