Rebecca Ferguson, star of “Dune: Part Two”, shared on the “Reign With Josh Smith” podcast that she had a difficult experience with a co-star on set. The co-star was so unprofessional and insecure that they screamed at her, making her feel vulnerable and uncomfortable. Ferguson did not disclose the actor’s name but mentioned how the person criticized her acting skills in front of the whole crew, leaving her feeling broken and unsupported.
This incident pushed Ferguson to stand up for herself for the first time on set. She made it clear to the actor that she would only act opposite the back of their head, refusing to engage further with their unprofessional behavior.
Despite pushback from producers, Ferguson remained firm in her decision to protect herself on set. She eventually discussed the matter with the director, who acknowledged the unstable situation and supported Ferguson in taking a stand.
As Ferguson’s story gained attention on social media, she received support from Dwayne Johnson, her former co-star on “Hercules.” Johnson commended Ferguson for standing up to the mistreatment and expressed his admiration for her strength.
