The dark side of Hollywood can’t hide from Rebel Wilson
The Aussie actress, 44, revealed that an unnamed Hollywood star sent her threats after learning that she planned to include him in her upcoming memoir.
The “Pitch Perfect” alum had previously revealed that she planned to dedicate a whole chapter to a “massive a–hole” that she had previously worked with.
However, in a now-deleted Instagram story, Wilson said that the unidentified co-star has since tried to prevent her from telling the tale.
“Now the a–hole is trying to threaten me,” she wrote on the social media site. “He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book.”
Despite the looming PR war, Wilson assured her fans that “the book WILL come out and you will all know the truth.”
The Post reached out to Wilson for comment.
“Rebel Rising” is also set to hit bookshelves on April 2.
Wilson first mentioned the individual when she revealed that the experience made her adopt a “no a–holes” policy when taking jobs in the US, according to another Instagram post.
“When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, ‘Yeah, I have a no-a**holes policy that means, like, I don’t work with a**holes’. I was like, ‘Yeah, I mean, that sounds sensible and logical,’” she said in the video which was posted earlier this month.
“But then it really sunk in what they were meaning by that, older people in the industry. Because I worked with a massive a–hole, and, yeah, now I definitely have a a–holes policy,” she continued. “Chapter on said a–hole – it is chapter 23, that guy was a massive a–hole.”
According to Wilson, her highly-anticipated memoir covers “everything” about her life ranging from her teenage years, to becoming famous, and her “relationship with food.”
The “Senior Year” alum — who shocked thousands in 2020 with a brand new slender figure — also recently claimed that she gained nearly half of the 80 pounds back due to “stress” from her busy work schedule.
“Working really hard has meant that, coz of all the stress, I’ve gained 14kg’s (30 pounds),” Wilson captioned an Instagram post of herself lounging in a hot tub.
“It makes me feel bad about myself…it shouldn’t…but it does,” she continued. “I’m really proud of the work I’ve been doing on new movies and my memoir, it’s just been a LOT and I’ve lost focus on my healthy lifestyle.”
Several of her millions of followers sent the “Cats” actress words of encouragement.
Last month, the “Hustle” actress revealed that she was “working 7 days a week” while writing her book, “Rebel Rising,” filming an action movie in Savannah and directing a film in Australia.
In addition to her many projects, the “How to Be Single” star said that she was also working on her “label-free” dating app, Fluid, as well as being a full-time mom with fiancée Ramona Agruma.
