Rebel Wilson has claimed that she was once invited to a drug-fuelled orgy by an unnamed member of the British royal family.

The group was reportedly seeking more female attendees.

“He was fifteenth or twentieth in line to the British throne,” Wilson writes in her memoir Rebel Rising, The Telegraph UK reports.

She alleged the royal said: “We need more girls”.

Wilson claims the request was made at a medieval-themed party in Los Angeles hosted by a US tech billionaire in 2014.

The Australian star said hers was a last-minute invitation.

“The party was insane. Men were jousting on horses in a field, girls dressed as mermaids were in the pool.

“The property was massive, and because it was quite a drive, people had been assigned rooms to sleep there overnight,” she said, describing the elaborate affair.

The 41-year-old claimed there was a tray carried around and offered to guests that she thought contained lollies but then realised it was the drug MDMA.

“I’m like, ‘Ooooh, is that candy?’ and the guy holding the tray says, ‘No, this is the molly (MDMA),’ and I turned to the screenwriter I’ve been talking with, confused.

“He says, ‘Oh, it’s for the orgy … the orgies normally start at these things about this time.’

“Now the comment by the Windsor about needing more girls started to make a lot more sense. They weren’t talking about a boy-girl ratio like it was a year-eight disco. They were talking about an ORGY!”

The reports come after Wilson cancelled her Australian book tour amid delays to the publication of her memoir.

The Australian leg of the 44-year-old star’s tour was due to kick off in Brisbane on May 12, followed by an appearance in Melbourne on May 14.

But Wilson has cited scheduling conflicts as the reason for the cancellation of her Australian press dates.

The book will be published on May 8, but the actress will not be appearing in person to plug it.

“I’m really excited for UK and Australian readers to finally get to read REBEL RISING!,” she wrote in an Instagram story on Thursday.

“New UK publishing date is 25 Apr and in Aus it’s 8 May.

“This is my full story — from my childhood to the birth of my beautiful daughter.

“I hope you enjoy it!

“Unfortunately I now won’t be able to do the in-person book events in Australia due to my changing work schedule.”
