Hollywood icon Robert De Niro has proven he’s still young at heart, jumping off a yacht and body-slamming into the ocean on his 81st birthday.
Rena De Niro, the star’s 56-year-old daughter, posted a series of flicks of the Oscar winner enjoying life and caring for his family in a tribute to his special day.
“Happy 81st Bday to my Dad and #1 ride or die .. Love you with all my ♥️♥️♥️ #BobbyD forever ✨👑✨,” she captioned the post.
With the first image depicting a free-falling De Niro leaping off a boat, a separate clip showed the fearless octogenarian launching himself into the ocean from a greater height as his body awkwardly rotated and smacked into the surface.
Cheers from the boat turned to concerns as he resurfaced.
“Oh my god, are you alright?” Drena asked.
Upon catching his breath, Robert replied, “Yeah, I’m okay”.
Drena’s 19-year-old son Leandro died in July from the toxic effects of a drug combination that included fentanyl, bromazolam, alprazolam, 7-aminoclonazepam, ketamine and cocaine.
At the time, Robert said he was “deeply distressed by the passing of my beloved grandson Leo”.
