The Support Our Veterans Appeal will channel its funds toward two esteemed organisations: Legacy and Wounded Heroes Australia.
Legacy, an iconic Australian charity with a century-long history, is dedicated to supporting the families of veterans. Meanwhile, Wounded Heroes Australia is a national defence community organisation that provides critical 24/7 emergency crisis support to Australian Defence Force members, veterans, and their families facing immediate financial crises, homelessness, or the risk of homelessness.
Both Legacy and Wounded Heroes Australia were chosen for their proven track record of offering short, medium, and long-term assistance to returning military personnel, making them ideal partners for this charitable endeavour.
Starting from Tuesday, September 5, 2023, a portion of the proceeds from every concert ticket sold for KISS’s Final Curtain concert will be donated to Legacy and Wounded Heroes. Moreover, during the concert on Saturday, October 7, Legacy and Wounded Heroes will actively collect donations at Accor Stadium, ensuring that fans have the opportunity to contribute to this noble cause.
KISS is not stopping there in their commitment to support veterans. They have also pledged to provide 5,000 free concert tickets for distribution to serving Australian Defence Force personnel and veterans, enabling them to attend the event and share the experience with their families and friends.
