ROHTAK: After completing his B.A.LL.B from Symbiosis University Pune, Sagar Panghal faced an unexpected halt in his courtroom practice in 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions. “Like everyone else, I found myself with nothing to do within the confines of my home. It was during this time that the idea of writing a book on the Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) struck me,” mentioned Sagar, who hails from Mayna village in the district.
Despite awareness about the CLAT exam being prevalent in metro cities, students in satellite towns like Rohtak still grapple with obtaining accurate information and quality content to prepare for national law universities. This book is distinguished from other resources available online as the book specifically meets the requirement of the New CLAT pattern, said 27-year-old Sagar.
Drawing from his experiences at Symbiosis University, Pune, Sagar emphasized the increasing significance of legal education, predicting that after NEET and IIT-JEE, the next era would be dominated by legal students. With approximately 5 crore pending cases in the country, he stressed the need for adept judicial officers and lawyers equipped with both legal knowledge and communication skills.
“Students from small towns are already dominating entrance exams like UPSC, IIT-JEE, NEET, and to excel in CLAT exams, they require good guidance and quality content to remain at the top of the game,” he said.
Reflecting on his year in lockdown, Sagar dedicated his time to collecting materials, consulting mentors in the legal field, and engaging with CLAT aspirants before crafting his book. “The book on CLAT exam published by Invincible Publishers finally hit the open market, and witnessing the positive response, subsequent editions — the second and now the third book on CLAT — are available for aspirants,” he shared.
