Rookies will look to close out the qualifying series with a 12th victory on Friday night when they take on Imperials in the Eastern Goldfields Netball Association’s first division.
Imperials are fifth with four wins and cannot sneak into the top-four — even if they upset the premiership favourites, who are two games clear of Steelers at the head of the standings.
Also on Friday night, Steelers hope to bounce back from last weekend’s top-of-the-table defeat to Rookies by three goals when they go up against fourth-placed Sonix 1.
The round concludes with last-placed NVUS 1 facing a big assignment against third-placed Mana 1.
Last weekend’s round 14 matches featured a tense draw, 36-36, between Sonix 1 and NVUS 1.
Friday’s program starts at 6pm when Rookies play Imperials and NVUS 1 oppose Mana 1.
Steelers’ clash with Sonix 1 is at 7.30pm.
Saturday’s division 2 matches start at 3.30pm.
