The PIB in a tweet notified that no such recruitment notice has been issued by the Railway Ministry. The tweet read, “A Fake notice issued in name of Railway Ministry regarding recruitment of sub-inspector & constable in Railway Protection force is circulating on social media.No such notice has been issued by

According to the tweet, applications were invited for a total of 4,660 RPF Sub Inspector and Constable positions. The notice specifically states that these vacancies include 4,208 RPF constables and 452 Sub Inspectors, as notified by the RRB.
Earlier in January, the RRB announced a recruitment drive for Sub-Inspectors (Exe.) and Constables (Exe.) in the RPF and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). This recruitment drive aims to fill 2250 positions, with 2000 reserved for constables and 250 for Sub-Inspectors.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) conducts recruitment exams for sub-inspectors and constables in a three-phase format – computer-based test (CBT), physical efficiency test (PET), physical measurement test (PMT), and documentation verification.
