RRB exam-fee refund: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has activated the link for the extension to the to re-update the bank details of candidates who are eligible for the refund of examination fee. The RRB notice states that refunds for a large number of candidates could not be processed due to incorrect or incomplete bank account information.
As a result, the decision was made to provide a link for candidates to re-update their bank information as a final option.Candidates who have yet to receive their refunds are encouraged to take advantage of this final opportunity to update their bank account information.
Candidates who paid their examination fees through Internet Banking, Credit card, UPI, or Debit Card and opted for refunds via the same transaction mode may encounter issues if their account details have changed or if their accounts have been closed. Consequently, the bank may be unable to retrieve the necessary information for processing refunds. The RRB has given an option to such candidates to update their bank details using the provided link.
All candidates whose refunds have not yet been processed will receive an email and SMS notification on their registered email address and mobile number. During the bank account details update process, OTP authentication will be required.
Further candidates have been asked to verify the accuracy of their bank account number and IFSC code before submission, as modifications after submission will not be possible.
