Ryan Gosling’s ‘Fall Guy’ falls into top spot at opener

Ryan Gosling’s reboot of “The Fall Guy,” took first place in its debut at the box office, according to IMDB’s Box Office Mojo.

The action flick, starring Gosling as a cocky stunt double for a famous actor, raked in $10.48 million on Friday. The movie, loosely based on the Lee Majors-led 1980s TV series, was expected to garner $28 million for its opening weekend after falling short of earlier estimates, according to the Hollywood Reporter. That’s down from the initially anticipated $30 million to $35 million.

The Post gave “The Fall Guy” two out of four stars, calling it “mediocre” and “rather annoying.”
