What is Black Friday?

Black Friday begins on November 24, one week after Thanksgiving in the United States.

It heralds the start of the Christmas shopping season, and retailers across the globe reduce their prices that weekend to try to make the most of customers’ purchasing.

It has grown to become a full weekend event, with Cyber Monday on the other side – giving shoppers four full days to nab a bargain.
