The trial of the five men charged with the murder of Senzo Meyiwa continues at the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.

SENZO MEYIWA TRIAL CONTINUES
On Monday, the defence was expected to cross-examine ballistics expert Lieutenant Colonel Chris Mangena, however, this did not happen.
Mangena testified in 2023 and in an attempt to rebut the State’s evidence, the defence asked the court to consult its own ballistics expert.
The court also heard that the families of the accused tried to raise the money ought to be paid to the expert but there is an outstanding balance.
Mokgoatlheng asked the State to call the head of legal aid board to come to court on Tuesday to clarify whether it will finance the outstanding amount of the expert, TimesLIVE reported.
