Sibling magicians Adam and Selina launch online Magic School before Adam & Selina: Illusions of the Mind tour

While most magicians will advise their audiences “don’t try this at home”, award-winning Swedish siblings Adam and Selina Murby are teaming the announcement of their new show Adam & Selina: Illusions of the Mind, touring WA in October and November, with the launch of their online magic school for kids in time for September school holidays.

The brother and sister duo, who gained recognition as Australia’s Got Talent grand finalist in 2010, has developed their Magic School’s inaugural online course, aptly named Discovering Magic, to teach magic to children aged from eight years to young adults.

From card magic to mind-bending illusions, it spans nine modules with more than 40 videos and 30 beginner magic tricks designed to inspire self-expression and creativity while improving valuable skills of disciple, dexterity, focus, self-confidence and self-esteem.

Each module consists of 2-to-5-minute videos for participants to complete at their preferred pace.

“Our courses inspire kids to embrace their inner magician whilst empowering them with life skills that extend far beyond magic,” Selina says.

Adam adds: “We’re excited to provide an accessible platform where young minds can explore creativity, build confidence and harness their own sense of magic.”

While the performers now call Perth home, their own journey into magic began during their childhoods on a farm in Sweden, where their grandmother teaching them their first magic trick sparked their lifelong passion to leave people spellbound.

Adam & Selina: Illusions of The Mind is set to do just that when it features mindreading, mental manipulation and psychological illusions during shows in Kalgoorlie, Mandurah and Perth.
