Late last year, PaxPower unveiled a Ford F-150 Raptor R for a customer in Saudi Arabia that it had converted into a single-cab truck. Another company has now unwrapped its own single-cab Raptor R, and this one is even shorter than PaxPower’s creation.

This Ford is being overhauled by Texas dealership Mcallen Motorcars. While the dealer hasn’t detailed the truck’s build process, shortening the wheelbase of any vehicle is extremely time-consuming. The front fascia is largely identical to the standard truck but that’s about the only thing that has gone unchanged.

The dealership has lobbed off the two rear doors and shortened the wheelbase by what looks like at least one foot, probably more. The bed appears identical in size to a standard F-150 Raptor R. A key difference with PaxPower’s single-cab model is that it lengthened the bed in front of the rear wheels, giving the truck slightly less odd proportions than this one.

Images shared online reveal this short-wheelbase Raptor R is still a work in progress. If it runs right after having its chassis cut in half and welded back together, it should be an absolute animal. PaxPower’s creation weighs a staggering 1,700 lbs (771 kg) less than the standard F-150 Raptor R and this even shorter truck probably weighs less.
It’s unclear if Mcallen Motorcars is planning any upgrades to the truck’s engine but none are needed anyway. As standard, the 5.2-liter supercharged V8 lifted from the Mustang Shelby GT500 churns out a monstrous 700 hp and 640 lb-ft (868 Nm) of torque. It can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in a claimed 3.6 seconds, allowing it to not only keep up with sports cars but also scare a few supercars off the line.
