ANNA WOOLHOUSE is no stranger to a gruelling gym workout.
And footage of her training sessions this year left her legion of social media followers.
The Sky Sports Boxing and Darts presenter shared a compilation video of her 2023 workouts with her 157,000 Instagram followers on Thursday.
And it was accompanied by an inspirational message for those looking to start their fitness journies in the New Year.
She wrote: “In a couple of days there will be a lot of ‘New Year New You’ flying around and a lot of focus on getting fit after overindulging over Christmas.
“Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, there isn’t any quick fix to losing weight or getting fit, it’s all about consistency and most importantly finding something you enjoy whatever that may be!
“I cannot wait to get back into strength training again after a bit of time out due to health stuff.
“Lifting weights and strength training helps you build a strong body and mind too, no ladies it won’t make you bulk up I promise!
“Start steady, be consistent and most importantly enjoy it. Exercise is bloody awesome.”
Woolhouse’s inspirational message was well received by her followers, although many of them ended up commenting on the gruelling nature of her workouts.

Woolhouse, 38, hasn’t always received glowing comments on her workouts, – being on the receiving end of multiple messages from trolls.
She told The Independent in August 2018: “Working in this industry I think you do have to have a pretty thick skin.
“But we are all human at the end of the day and sometimes it is hard to ignore very personal and nasty things that are said or written about you.
“In the last 48 hours, I have received some awful comments regarding the way I look, being a woman in the industry and about my family which have been hard to ignore, so I decided to highlight this by publicly publishing the messages.
“It really is sickening to think that people are able to hide behind their keyboards and say such hurtful, vile things without any consequences and I feel strongly this needs to change.

“Social media is an amazing tool and, when it is used correctly, has so many positive benefits.
” But, as with most things in life there is always a small percentage of people who try to ruin it. But hopefully conversation makes change.”
