Singer Steve Hofmeyr was brought before the SAHRC for his comments about Disney and LGBTQI people. Steve had to pay up and apologize on his Facebook page, according to The South African news.
SASSA vs the DA
SASSA and non-payment prompted the DA to send an SAHRC complaint. Social grants are important. Non-payment affected many South Africans.
