Candidates who successfully complete the SSC CGL 2024 application form by June 24, 2024, will be eligible to sit for the Tier 1 exam. The Tier 1 exam is a computer-based test comprising 100 questions worth a total of 200 marks. Each correct answer will earn the candidate 2 marks, while each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of 0.50 marks. The questions will cover four subjects: English Language, General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. To prepare effectively, candidates can review previous years’ SSC CGL question papers.
Tier 2: Computer-Based Test
Candidates who pass the Tier 1 exam will advance to the Tier 2 exam, which is also conducted online. The Tier 2 exam consists of three papers: Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III. All papers feature objective-type, multiple-choice questions, with the exception of Module-II of Section-III of Paper-I. The exam will be available in both English and Hindi, except for the English Language and Comprehension module in Section II of Paper-I. Negative marking applies: 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer in Section-I, Section-II, and Module-I of Section-III of Paper-I, and 0.50 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer in Paper-II and Paper-III.
Document Verification (DV)
