The typing test for the 2022-23 session batch was held in October 2023. Candidates who had appeared for the for the skill test, can check their results on the ssc.nic.in portal. The total number of vacancies declared is 835. It includes 276 vacancies earmarked for female candidates, and 559 posts for male candidates.

Step 1: Visit the official website at delhipolice.gov.in.
Step 2: Navigate to “Recruitment” on the homepage and select “Recruitments” from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Access the page titled “Result declared for Typing Test on Computer for the post of Head Constable Ministerial in Delhi Police 2022.”
Step 4: Download the PDF by clicking on the PDF sign associated with the specific result.
Step 5: Locate your roll number in the PDF using Ctrl+F; finding your roll number indicates successful qualification in the typing test.

Selection process
The selection process involves four distinct steps. Firstly, candidates undergo a Computer-based examination conducted by SSC. Subsequently, there are Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests (PEMT) conducted by Delhi Police. The next phase includes a Typing Test. Finally, candidates who qualify in the Typing Test proceed to the Computer Formatting Test, also conducted by the Delhi Police.
Currently, the results of the typing test has been declared by the authority. Candidates who are shortlisted on this round, will be required to appear for another skill test, which will be the qualifying round.
Candidates who pass the Typing Test on Computer will undergo a Computer (Formatting) Test, assessing proficiency in MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, and MS-Excel.
The Staff Selection Commission will compile and announce the list of provisionally selected candidates, categorized by the number of advertised vacancies. These selections will be made from the pool of candidates who have been declared qualified in the Computer (Formatting) Test. The list will be strictly based on merit, considering the scores from the Computer Based Examination (100 marks), Typing Test on Computer (25 marks), and any additional incentive or bonus marks, if applicable.
According to the SSC, the selected candidates will receive a “Call Letter” before obtaining the “Offer of Appointment” letters. This letter will be issued only after the successful completion of all codal formalities, including medical fitness, verification of character and antecedents, and the final scrutiny of documents.
