NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on Wednesday released a notice regarding the upcoming SSC MTS Exam 2023, specifically for candidates who are going to appear in Delhi. According to the notice, in view of the G20 Summit in the national capital from September 8 to September 10, Delhi candidates who will appear in the SSC Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2023 scheduled on September 8 are advised to check the detailed traffic advisory provided by the Delhi Traffic Police.

“A general restriction on vehicular movements will be in place from 8th to 10th September 2023 in the National Capital, especially in New Delhi District and its surrounding areas in view of G20 Summit,” the notice read.
The commission has asked the candidates to check out different routes to reach the examination centre on time and the advisory issued by the police can be found on the official website of Delhi Traffic Police.
“A detailed Traffic advisory including suggested Road Routes, suggested Routes for Railway Stations, Important Traffic Regulations, Advisory for DTC Bus/Inter State Bus, Advisory for Metro Services, Instruction for General Public, etc. can be found on Delhi Traffic Police website,” the notice added.
In view of G20 Summit in Delhi ahead, the SSC has also advised candidates to keep sufficient time in hand to reach the exam centre on time as none of them would be allowed to enter the exam centre under any circumstances once the gates are closed.
“Aspirants whose examination centres are located in Delhi on 8th September, 2023 are requested to plan their journey to examination venue early and keep sufficient time in hand to avoid unexpected inconveniences. The entry time in the exam venue will not be relaxed or extended under any circumstances,” the notice read further.
The Tier I SSC MTS Exam 2023 is scheduled to be conducted from September 1 to September 14, 2023, at various exam centers across the country. For more related details, candidates are advised to refer to the official website of the commission.
