SSC MTS Final Result 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the results of the Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar exams on its official website. Out of the candidates who appeared for the exams, 11,255 successfully qualified for the MTS position, while 195 candidates met the requirements for the Havaldar post.
Candidates, who took the examination, can now check and download their results on the official SSC website – ssc.nic.in. To check whether you have qualified for these positions, you will need your date of birth and registration number.
Once you enter this information on the website, a PDF document containing the roll numbers of successful candidates will be displayed. It’s essential to save this PDF and print it out for your reference. This list comprises candidates who will proceed to the document verification stage and, if successful, go on to be appointed as Havaldars in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and Central Board of Narcotics (CBN).
As the final result of the examination is declared, the allocated department will initiate the document verification and appointment procedures for the selected candidates. If a candidate doesn’t receive any communication from the assigned user department within six months from the final result declaration, they should contact the relevant department. It’s important to note that the Commission will not entertain any inquiries or requests regarding document verification or appointment from the selected candidates.

In terms of vacancies, there were 1,198 positions available for MTS and 360 for Havaldar in CBIC and CBN combined. The selection process for these posts has been rigorous, with two phases of the examination conducted from May 2 to 19 and from June 13 to 20, 2023, at various centres across the country.
Before the results were declared, the answer key for the SSC MTS exam was released on September 17. Candidates had until September 20 to raise any objections.
The results of the Computer-Based Examination for the Havaldar position were announced on September 2, 2023. Out of 3,015 candidates, 1,683 candidates participated in the Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) organized by CBIC at centres nationwide. Around 1,586 candidates successfully cleared the PET/PST for the Havaldar role (CBIC & CBN).
It’s important to note that the qualifying marks for different categories varied. General category candidates needed to score at least 30%, while OBC and EWS candidates were required to score 25%, and candidates from other categories needed a minimum of 20%.
Candidates should note that the final answer keys and marks for both qualified and non-qualified candidates will be accessible on the Commission’s website in the near future.
The results for 11,063 candidates (consisting of 10,871 for MTS and 192 for Havaldar) are now posted on the Commission’s website. It’s important to note that 387 candidates are currently withheld from these results.
