The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the stenographer Grade C & D recruitment 2023 provisional answer key.
Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the answer keys released on the official website ssc.nic.in. In addition to the provisional answer key, SSC has also released candidates’ response sheets.
Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key and their response sheet, will be able to challenge the answers till 6PM tomorrow, October 18. Candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 100 per question, when they challenge the answer key.
The SSC Stenographer Grade C, D exam was held on October 12 and 13, 2023. The exam was conducted in computer-based mode (CBT) and consisted of two papers:
Paper I, comprised three main sections, namely General Intelligence and Reasoning, English Language, and General Awareness, with a total of 100 multiple-choice questions and an overall weightage of 200 marks. The division of questions was as follows: General Intelligence and Reasoning contained 50 questions carrying 100 marks, the English Language section had 25 questions worth 50 marks, and the General Awareness segment encompassed 25 questions accounting for 50 marks.
Paper II was structured into two distinctive parts, namely Part A, focusing on Shorthand, and Part B, dedicated to Dictation. Each part held an equal weightage of 100 marks, contributing to the overall assessment. In Part A, candidates were tasked with transcribing a passage from shorthand to English. Part B demanded candidates to deliver a dictated passage to a stenographer at a prescribed speed of 80 words per minute (wpm) for Grade D and 100 wpm for Grade C.

Step 1: Go to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at ssc.nic.in.
Step 2: Look for and click on the link specifically meant for the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D answer key and response sheet.
Step 3: You will be prompted to enter your enrollment number and password. Fill in the required credentials accurately.
Step 4: Once you’ve entered the information, the individual response sheet and the answer key will be visible on your screen.
Step 5: Lastly, to keep a record, download the answer key and response sheet and consider taking a printout for your future reference
