Greene clattered into Jordan Boyd after the Blues defender courageously went back with the flight off the ball.
The GWS captain jumped to contest the ball, but turned his body at the last moment and braced for impact. His shoulder made high contact with Boyd’s face.
Boyd went down briefly, but was able to quickly get up and play on injured.
Meanwhile, Hogan was involved in an off-the-ball incident with Lewis Young.
The pair were pushing and shoving in the goalsquare when Hogan made contact with Young’s face with an open hand.
Young gestured to the umpire, but kept his feet and appeared to be relatively unhurt.
